Christmas Pillow Concert

Violoncello and grand piano is our Christmas musical proposal to all Pillow Concerts admirers. Beautiful, emotional, warm, and sensitive instrument, the cello is very close to the human voice in its sound.

On December 26th, the second day of the most important Christian holiday, we will meet you with the Guildhall School Gold Medal winner, Alexander Somov. This is the most prestigious award among the British Conservatoires. Alexander’s partner on the piano will be Kristian Banatsianou, an alumni from the University of South Florida and Cleveland Institute of Music. The two musicians were friends since their days at the Sofia Music School where they studied and played chamber music together.

Our musical Christmas programme will include Beethoven’s Variations on a theme of Handel, Astor Piazzolla – Gran Tango and Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne.

We are looking forward to your reservations for Monday, December 26th, at 11:00 for the morning concert or at 17:00 for the afternoon event.
