Ticket holders are entitled to a free entry for the pre-concert. They are also invited to a glass of wine with the comliments of Modo. The pre-concert talk starts at 19:00 in the Central Military Club’s Concert Hall. The wine reception starts at 19:30.

Teodora Kasmetska – Sorokow was born in Sofia in 1977. In her family, music is a professional destiny. When four and half years old, she was accepted at the Music School “Liubomir Pipkov” where she started her studies with the violin. Her teachers were I. Dragneva, Garnik Gugasian and Evgenia – Maria Popova. In 1993, Teodora continued to study in Lisbon with Valentin Stefanov.
Only sixteen years old, Teodora Kasmetska-Sorokow, started her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Johannes Meissl and Prof. Josef Hell. In 2002, she graduated with honours and continued her studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with Prof. Mincho Minchev. In 2004, Mrs. Kasmetska-Sorokow completed her studies and her diploma thesis with honours and was immediately given a place at the Nurnberg Symphony Orchestra. Teodora Sorokow received scholarships throughout her studies from the Tokyo Foundation as well as from University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
As a student, Teodora Kasmetska-Sorokow won the concertmaster audition of the Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra and performed in the most celebrated European concert halls. She has participated in official concerts organized by the Austrian government in Vienna, Luxembourg and concerts under the patronage of Sir Yehudi Menuhin. She has actively performed as a chamber musician in different ensembles. In recent years, Mrs. Kasmetska-Sorokow has often played with the ensemble ‘Concertante’ in the prestigious International Music Festival ‘Grafenegg’ in Austria.
